Yesterday, voters across Clayton and DeKalb counties chose me as the Democratic nominee for State Senate District 44. I'm grateful for your votes, ready to win in November, and excited to deliver for the residents of SD-44.
This win belongs to all of us: to every voter who showed up, to my campaign staff and volunteers, and to the residents of SD-44 who put their trust in me. Thank you.
My job is to serve the entire district, whether you voted for me or not. That means fighting against Republican gerrymandering, protecting the right to vote, making everyday life more affordable, and standing with the workers and families who keep our communities running. I'll work to earn your trust.
I want to thank Nadine Thomas. She's a dedicated public servant, nurse, and community leader who has given so much to DeKalb and Clayton counties. She ran with conviction and a deep love for these communities, and she has my respect and gratitude.
I'm also grateful to the faith leaders, neighbors, family, and friends who prayed for us, shared our message, and stood with us when it counted.
This November, Democrats across Georgia have a chance to make history again, and our team will be working hard to turn out voters in record numbers. But today, I just want to say thank you. I won't forget the trust you've placed in me.
