Draper Paper: Are you Ready to Knock Doors?

And other things you can do to help acheive big wins in November

Hello everyone, and thank you for your past work canvassing in support of our fantastic Democratic candidates. You’ve shown up again and again, and I am grateful.

Let’s Get Going on Voter Outreach

The DPG coordinated campaign office for our region is at 4746 Flat Shoals Parkway.   You can sign up to canvass from this office on weekdays here, and weekends here.

And…packets will again be available from my porch starting this weekend.  Sign up here.  We’ll have shifts at Noon on Saturday Sept 19 and 1 on Sunday Sept 20 (and we’ll amp up from there…if you need us to get you a turf for another time, send an email to info@votesaira.com and we’ll get you set up).

In the coming weekends I’ll share options in Clayton County and for some “extra‑mile canvassing”, including with candidates for statewide office and in flippable State House districts near metro Atlanta. Keep an eye out for more information on those activities.

Looking forward to seeing you all again and doing our part to ensure November brings a big blue wave!

Help Ensure Fair Elections

There are loads of volunteer opportunities to help voters and  protect election integrity.  Phone bank to help Georgians update their voter registration! Volunteer to be a poll watcher! To find these and many more volunteer opportunities go to: https://gadems.info/voprovol

Finally–if you have any questions or concerns about voting…the Democratic Party of Georgia’s Voter Protection Hotline is live 1-888-730-5816. I recommend saving the number in your phone and sharing it widely.

Get in Touch

There are several ways you can share your concerns, request assistance, or let me know about activities in our neighborhoods.

The best way to get in touch is through the contact us form on my website. But, you can also reach me by calling the office (404-656-0265), sending an email to saira.draper@house.ga.gov.

Support this Work

The work to turn Georgia blue is not possible without donor support. Your contribution goes toward staff salaries, operations, and communications with voters (like this newsletter!).

If you found value in this newsletter, or if value what I bring to the Georgia legislature, please consider supporting my campaign today.

Contributions to Friends of Saira Draper Inc. are not deductible for tax purposes. State law allows individuals, corporations, and Political Action Committees to contribute a maximum of $3,300 for the primary, $1,800 for the runoff, and $3,300 for the general election.

Yours in service,

Voting information for people with disabilities

Information about the upcoming Elections

The November 3, 2026 elections will be critical for Georgia’s future. Review the Democrats running for statewide office, and remember to vote all the way down your ballot. Supporting the statewide candidates AND your local representatives is crucial. Flipping a chamber would allow us to pass meaningful legislation that helps hardworking Georgians. It would also allow us to push back against likely efforts to redraw maps this December.

What you can do now

  • Confirm your voter registration and make any necessary updates by October 5.
  • Make a plan to vote—and encourage your friends and family to do the same. I strongly recommend voting early in person if possible. Early voting offers flexibility (you may vote at any early voting site in your county), helps avoid long lines, provides time to resolve issues, and reduces the risk of encountering disruptions at your polling place.
  • There is good additional voting guidance at the Democratic Party of Georgia website.
  • Voters with disabilities can find excellent information on voting rights, accessibility tools, and available resources at REV UP Georgia.

If you can do more

Volunteers are urgently needed. You can serve as a poll worker, poll watcher, or support the Voter Protection Hotline. Learn more about voter protection volunteering.

If you have concerns or questions, call the Voter Protection Hotline at 888-730-5816.
